History of La Vernia

The following historical reports have been reprinted for the preservation and memories of the “GOOD OLE DAYS”. The first source is reprinted from the Civic Government Class of La Vernia High School year 1936-1937 reflecting La Vernia’s History in the eyes of the young high school students. The second reprint comes from a special report issued in 1960 called the “Wilson County Centennial 1860-1960” at the Wilson County Library. This Centennial Program was handed out as a souvenir at the 100 year centennial celebration.
